Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for purchases from PurpleSpirits. Our products are digital downloads, which affects your refund rights.
1. Digital products are generally non-refundable
Because our products are delivered electronically and can be downloaded immediately, all sales are final once the download has been accessed. Under South Africa’s Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the standard online “cooling-off” right does not apply to digital products once you have begun downloading or accessing them.
2. When we will put it right
We want you to receive what you paid for. We will gladly provide a replacement or a refund if:
- your download link did not work and we could not resolve it;
- the file is faulty, corrupted, or materially not as described; or
- you were charged in error or charged more than once.
3. How to request help
Contact us at [your support email] within 14 days of your purchase, quoting your order reference (e.g. PS-XXXXXXXX) and a description of the problem. We may ask for details to help us investigate.
4. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method via PayFast. Please allow a few business days for the funds to reflect, depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first — we’ll do our best to sort it out quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.
